We are approximately half a mile
from the centre of Crudwell, a small village with a village shop,
two pubs and two hotels. The nearby towns include Malmesbury
(4 miles), the oldest borough in England with a very fine Abbey,
Tetbury (4 miles), steeped in history and with the famous Westonbirt
Arboretum and Cirencester (8 miles) boasting the Corinium Museum,
fine church and Cirencester Park, and excellent shopping. We
are an ideal centre for exploring the beautiful Cotswold towns
and villages - Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, Upper
& Lower Slaughter and Burford to name but a few. Although
we are in a very rural location we are only 15 minutes away from
the M4 Motorway and London (Heathrow Airport) is 90 minutes away.
We are also conveniently placed for Bristol and Birmingham airports
and Kemble main line railway station is 4 miles.
Both Bath and Bristol have excellent
theatres and the area abounds with golf courses and racing is
regularly held at Cheltenham, Bath, Newbury and Chepstow. There
are many historic National Trust properties nearby and for garden
lovers there is an abundance of beautiful gardens to visit. The
Cotswold Water Park is 5 miles away with all water sports available.
During the summer Polo is regularly held at Cirencester Park
and Westonbirt.
